Connect Clinical Systems With Traceable Data Exchange

Clinical Interoperability Hub is an integration platform designed to connect hospital, laboratory, referral, and community-care systems. It brings message validation, data mapping, patient-identity checks, and delivery monitoring into a shared layer that works with the systems each organization already uses.

The project gives integration teams a clear view of information moving between services. They can identify failed exchanges, investigate missing fields, and manage exceptions with a record of what happened at each stage.

01
Why This Project Matters

A referral can leave one system without becoming available to the team expecting it. Differences in message formats, patient identifiers, and local codes make these gaps difficult to investigate when each interface has its own logs and support process.

Bringing delivery status and exception handling together helps teams locate the problem and assign responsibility. The emphasis is on making exchanges visible and recoverable while preserving the context attached to the original information.

02
What the Interoperability Hub Does

The hub receives messages through agreed source-system interfaces, checks required fields, and maps supported information into the format expected by the receiving system. Messages with unresolved identifiers or unsupported values are held for review.

Valid messages move to authorized destinations, where acknowledgements and delivery status are recorded. An operations dashboard brings together queue age, processing errors, and retry history so support teams can investigate interruptions and replay eligible messages with duplicate protection.

Project Features

icon
Configurable System Connections

Connect supported hospital, laboratory, and community systems through source-specific adapters, with interface settings and responsibilities defined for each participating organization.

icon
Message Validation and Data Mapping

Check required fields and apply versioned mapping rules. Flag unknown codes, missing information, and identity conflicts for review before delivery.

icon
Delivery Tracking and Controlled Replay

Follow messages from receipt to acknowledgement. Use bounded retries and controlled replay to manage failed deliveries while checking for duplicate processing.

icon
Exception Management and Audit History

Give support teams a shared queue with failure reasons, ownership, and message history, supported by access controls and records of processing activity.
